A Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones

The night so far,
yet day not here.
For the day is so dark;
no light, not near.
Some blink, some fade,
Some glare, some shade.
And the day, still dark;
so dark, I fear.
Some rule, some ruled.
Some kill, some hacked.
Some slay ahead,
some took aback.
A throne, alone,
of fire, of swords.
A game to play,
with blood, with words.
The night so far,
Yet the day not here,
A Game of Thrones,
of love, of fear.

Elves, Hobbits and Lannisters…

I believe in the Middle Earth where the Elves, Men and Hobbits lived, I believe in the Wall that separated the free landers and white walkers from the royal thrones and its subjects. I believe not as much in their existence as I wish they were true. A sentence which contradicts itself, I know, but a statement that best describes my mind.

I wish Lord of the Rings existed, I wish the stories of Game of Thrones were true, I wish these literatures are more than just ink on paper and mind, but a projection of some reality. Its not hard to unwind the effect that watching or reading any of these have on you, but the things I felt after watching them have not let go off me for  a long while and now I want them to stay.

So boring would my life be to imagine they never existed, now that I have learnt to find them true. Their honor, their fights, their problems, their bliss, their grace. It would be very disappointing for myself to not believe in them. I know I speak for many when I say this.

I know that they don’t exist, but I want to believe the least in what I know.
